William Albert Henry Lyons
December 2, 1944 – August 8, 2021
With sadness and broken hearts, the family announces the passing of Bill on August 8, 2021.
Bill was predeceased by his parents Albert and Norma Lyons. He will be forever remembered by his wife, Lynn, daughter, Candace (Jeff), son Joel, and grandchildren Pazia, Makenna, Ivory, Kade, Brayson, Maddex, Drezden, Brenden (Chelsea) and Robin (Martyn) and great grandchildren Ari, Halen and Jackson, as well as brothers in law Rick White and Marvin Orchard, sisters in law Flo Shepherd and Myrna Schopohl, his Aunt Mary Lyons and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
Bill was born in Portage La Prairie and was raised in Doaktown, NB. He returned to Manitoba at age 21 where he met and married the love of his life, Lynn in 1970.
He worked in a lumber mill and on construction and for 27 years for the City of Winnipeg.
A graveside service which will be live streamed will be held on August 12, 2021 at 11:00am at Transcona Cemetery.
