Henry (Harry) Fehr

Peacefully at Riverview Health Center, Henry (Harry) Fehr, passed away on Sunday, September 19, 2021, at the age of 74.

Harry is survived by his wife Maureen, his children Geoff, Kelly (Denni) and Kristin (Evan) and grandchildren, Madison, Keegan, McKenzie, and Owen, He leaves behind his brothers Bob, Ed, and Richard, his in-laws: Jim (Deb) and Angus and many nieces and nephews and his dear friend Jim. He was predeceased by his parents Anne and Henry, his brothers Victor and Don, his in-laws Frances and Jim, and sister-in-law Janice.

Harry was born in the Steinbach area on July 28, 1947. He spent time in Steinbach, Winnipeg, and Wetaskiwin and returned to Winnipeg in 1981. Harry retired from the City of Winnipeg in 2010.

Harry enjoyed puttering, working on cars, fixing appliances, working in his garden, or spending time at the family cottage at Brereton Lake. In his later years, Harry could be found solving the problems of Transcona with his buddies at the Princess.

Maureen wants to thank the Palliative care team and staff at Riverview, family, friends and neighbours, and his buddies from the Princess for their support over the past few years.

As per Harry's wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no service. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Cancer Care Manitoba.
