Dennis Morton

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend Dennis Morton on Thursday, October 7, 2021.
Dennis was survived by his son Kevin, his daughter Kristi (Jose), his grandchildren Izabel and Matthew, his brothers Bob and Gary (Liz) and his sister Karen (Fred), and many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents John and Norma.

Dennis grew up and spent most of his life in Transcona. In his younger days, most of his time was spent playing sports as he was a great athlete back in the day. Dennis graduated from Transcona Collegiate Institute. He landed his first job at Eatons which he kept for a short period of time. After that, he started a lifelong career at the CN Railway to retire from there at the age of 54.

Dennis's life was devoted to his children, being there for all the sports games and dance recitals. He loved to take his children on road trips to Grand Forks and Fargo North Dakota. His most enjoyable moments in life were spending time with his family, watching sports, and playing the horses at Assiniboia Downs.

He will be remembered for his great sense of humor, his huge heart, his strength, and his constant love and support for his family.
