Archie was a dedicated husband and father with a list of friends that date back 50 years, he was remembered as a favourite uncle to many of his nieces and nephews, and a loving bother to his brothers and sisters. He was a listener and a problem solver; he was the one you would pour your heart into.
9 years ago, his sister Jo Ann donated a kidney and gave him the gift of life, allowing him to enjoy his passions of golfing and bowling with his brothers, his childhood friend & Cousin Bryon and his friends, Jim, Wayne, Norm and many more. His last few years were filled with laughter and happiness vacationing in different places with his wife Maria and surrounded by his immediate family.
Archie was born in Transcona and was a firm believer in supporting the local businesses. A practical man with a wonderful sense of humour, if it’s not on sale, is it necessary?”. Always willing to help those in need, a very caring and thoughtful person. Although he was retired for more than 10 Years from his job at Patterson’s Global foods, he was still remembered and respected by some of his colleagues.
